[公告] Student Exchange Application (Summer 2015) from City University of Hong Kong

Exchange Application
-Exchange application should be submitted via online application system .
-Course list is available now.
The application period will start from 15 January 2015 and the application deadline is 15 February 2015.
Hall Application
Students who wish to live on campus shall submit the attached hall application to us before the deadline of 15 February 2015. Scan copy of the completed hall application will be accepted.For more information about on-campus accommodation, please visit http://www.cityu.edu.hk/sro. Students are encouraged to apply early since student accommodation is not guaranteed. Successful applicants are required to pay the hostel fee in full at the time when the hall places are offered. The payment is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online payment can be made by credit card. For those who would like to pay by bank draft, please make the bank draft payable to City University of Hong Kong and send it by post to Student Residence Office, City University of Hong Kong, 22 Cornwall Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

Student Visa
Students must apply for a student visa (or entry permit for students from Mainland China) in advance unless they have the right of abode or right to land in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Some foreign passport holders might be granted visa-free entry to Hong Kong as Visitors. Such Visitor status, however, does not serve the purpose of studying in Hong Kong.
Students are strongly encouraged to apply for their student visa through our Mainland and External Affairs Office (MEAO) at CityU. Please allow sufficient time to go through the visa application process as sometimes it could take more than 6 weeks. Again, students should aim to obtain the student visa before coming to Hong Kong and validate their visa at the immigration checkpoint upon arrival. Governed by the immigration regulations, CityU is unable to accept a student for enrolment if s/he cannot present a valid student visa.
